A place where business and public office listen to each other

We organize private meetings between executives and public officials. No audience, no cameras, no verbatim record: the only way for someone to think out loud before deciding.

How we work

Four rules that aren't up for negotiation

These aren't brochure values: they're the conditions that make the conversation worth having.

What's said isn't attributed

No personal matters

What this is

An association, not a consultancy or a lobby

We exist so people can talk, not to achieve anything specific. It's a distinction that shows the moment someone tries to use the room.

The forum represents no one, signs no documents, and makes no decisions. What it produces are informed conversations and, with luck, people calling each other six months later.

Personal matters don't belong here. Anyone with one has other channels, and those are the right ones: the moment the room becomes a place to ask for something, everyone else stops speaking freely.

And we don't grow for growth's sake. A forum that admits everyone who asks becomes an auditorium, and no one converses in an auditorium.

What we do

Six formats, one method

They all share the same core: few people, one prepared topic, and nothing attributed.

Guest meetings

A figure from business or public life opens with twenty minutes, then it's all conversation. Between twenty and thirty attendees.

Working sessions

Eight or ten people around one specific issue, with materials shared beforehand. They leave with two better-framed questions.

Institutional conferences

Once a year, in an open format with a public record. It's the exception to the rule, and announced as such.

Working papers

What was discussed, without names, in four pages. For attendees, and to prepare the next session.

Closed-door briefings

A report, a new figure, or a public project, explained by whoever signs it and questioned without rushing.

International meetings

With equivalent forums from other countries, when the matter can't be understood without looking outward.

Notes from the forum

How we work and what we've learned doing it. No minutes, no names.

Why our meetings are held behind closed doors

It isn't secrecy: it's the condition for someone to say out loud what they think before they've decided it.

What a dialogue forum must never do

The temptation of a space with access to decision-makers is to use it to ask for things. That's where these forums fall apart.

What remains after a session

A conversation that leaves nothing in writing is forgotten within two weeks. One that leaves too detailed a record never happens again.
