About us

Twelve years bringing people who disagree to the same table

It began as a dinner among eight people who disagreed on almost everything and wanted to keep talking to each other.

What remained was a simple idea: that most disagreements between business and the public sphere aren't about interests, but about information that never circulates.

Today we're a hundred and forty members and eighteen gatherings a year, following the same method as back then: few people, a prepared topic, and nothing attributed.

We hold no position on almost anything, and that's deliberate. A forum with a doctrine of its own stops being a place where people listen.

What a session looks like

Two hours, three parts

01

It's prepared in advance

The guest and the topic are announced three weeks ahead. Attendees receive four pages of background and the questions already on the table.

02

Twenty minutes, then conversation

The guest opens briefly. The rest of the time belongs to attendees, moderated so everyone speaks, not just three people.

03

A summary remains, not a record

The arguments that were heard and the questions left open, with no names attached. Only for those who were there.
